BRIDE AND GROOM

Learning to dance for your wedding is a
special gift that you and your spouse-to-be can give to each other. Feeling
confident and poised when you dance together will ensure that your very first
dance together as wife and husband will be a memory you will cherish forever.
Make your "first dance" an exciting part of your special day. Bring us your
favorite music and we will create your special dance that will delight you, your
family, and your adoring guests.
The "Kings Ballroom and Dance Studio" can choreograph a polished and graceful
performance, on your "big day"!
If you are planning to get married, here are a few tips from "Kings Ballroom and
Dance Studio" on learning to dance in preparation for your wedding:
Don't wait until the last minute. Remember that your schedule will get very
hectic as your wedding day approaches. Dance instructors recommend starting four
to six months earlier to allow more time for practice, especially if you are a
newcomer to dancing.
Remember that dance lessons can actually be a stress reliever. Dancing is good
exercise. And lessons pull you out of the hustle and bustle of the day to spend
an hour or so with your intended, having fun and working together productively
at the same time.
Besides the Waltz and other traditional dances, we can teach you a beautiful
Nightclub 2-Step or Foxy. We also have the Mambo, Salsa, Swing and even the
Hustle, that are all popular at weddings today. Bring us your favorite song and
we will choreograph a 1st dance just for you.
And don't forget to coordinate with your wedding videographer for the best
"coverage" of your special dance.

"When my oldest daughter asked to have a Father/Daughter Dance at her wedding, I couldn't say no. However, I’ve never danced in my entire life. I found Dave and Marie King and told them that I only had eight weeks to learn one dance that I could dance with her at her wedding and not embarrass her. They choreographed a beautiful 'Fox Trot,' then taught me and my daughter how to perform it. Everything worked out wonderful."
"Two years later, when my youngest daughter asked to have a Father/Daughter Dance at her wedding, Dave and Marie, once again came to the rescue and choreographed and taught my daughter and me, an equally beautiful 'Rumba.' They also choreographed the newly weds’ first dance - a really nice 'Foxy.' "
"Their choreography, and dance instruction, provided two extremely memorable events in this father’s life. I highly recommend their services for your wedding needs. Even if you already know how to dance, their choreography always presents the couple in the best light."

The waltz routine was the high light of our recent wedding.
We practiced the routine daily prior to the wedding in addition to a weekly private lesson with David King.
The wedding dance is special for family and friends. Start early and make it your first priority.
